Collateral Beauty School, one of the first ever high school photo shoots in the U.S., is back, but this time, it’s with a vengeance.
The students are working with the brand of cosmetics brand Suho to create a unique new fragrance, The Collateral, which will be released by the brand in late 2019.
“The Collateral was one of our most successful shoots ever,” said Suho cofounder and owner of The Collital Beauty School David O’Keefe.
“Our students have a unique talent and we’re very excited to have them collaborate with us.”
O’Malley, who also runs The Collier Beauty School in Chicago, is also the director of photography for The Coller Beauty School’s Beauty Awards.
“They’re all doing a really good job with the product and we have a lot of work to do, but it’s a great opportunity to learn about the industry and collaborate with a brand,” he said.
The Collalts Beauty Awards will be held at The Collin School on March 23.
A total of $100,000 will be awarded for best photo shoot, best design and best design concept, with a $50,000 winner announced.
The beauty school will also be giving away two free collar hairbands.
“I’ve always been a fan of The Beauty Awards and this is just really good stuff for kids to learn and experience,” said O’Dea.
“We have so much work to accomplish to be the best makeup and beauty school in the world, and to have a school that is able to help educate students and help them grow is really great.”
The Collar Beauty School is located in the heart of the Chicago suburb of Riverdale, about 10 miles from the Riverdale Mall and about 1,300 feet from the Illinois-Kentucky state line.
It is one of two high school photography schools in the United States, along with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
